Appraisal Management System
Statement on the Home Valuation Code of Conduct
4/1/2009 -

The final version of the Home Valuation Code of Conduct (HVCC) will go into effect May 1, 2009. Orisyn Research, Inc. has determined its appraisal management division is fully compliant with the provisions of the HVCC.  These provisions have been established to safeguard the appraiser’s independence and ultimately enhance public confidence in the appraisal process.

The current policies and procedures at Orisyn Research completely fulfill the requirements specified in the HVCC. We are actively involved with HVCC compliance training within the mortgage industry and our extensive network of fee appraisers.  The HVCC has established the ethical and regulatory environment for our industry and has identified the importance of appraiser independence.

Orisyn has been an industry leader in appraisal quality and independence.  Our appraiser approval guidelines are among the most stringent in the industry and the infrastructure within Orisyn assures our lenders and appraisers of secure, high-quality, reliable service.  Our Business Continuity Plan, Disaster Recovery Plan, and financial management meet or exceed the service provider requirements for each of our lenders, including the federal government.
